Struggling to get your contour right? Well, TikTok may merely have the reply. A new makeup hack named skeleton contouring has diddled upwardly on the app, with users sharing their spooktacular results.
The clever makeup trick, which aims to requite you lot a more "snatched" look, requires you lot to draw a skeleton's face on acme of your own, using a profile production, foundation and concealer.
Whilst a normal base makeup routine begins with foundation, this version starts with the profile shade in the areas you'd similar to create shadow, before filling in the remaining sections with foundation and concealer.
This hack is perfect for those with round-shaped faces, as information technology slims the face downward and gives the illusion of higher cheekbones.
The hashtag #skeletoncontour has amassed over 9 million viewers so far, with dazzler fans posting their own makeovers in the hopes of looking more than divers.
One impressive clip is from TikTok user Soph Martine, who attempted the hack herself and shared the results with her 38.5K followers.
Starting off completely bare-faced, we see the beauty influencer carefully contouring her cheekbones, forehead and nose with Made By Mitchell's Blursh Bronzed Liquid Bronzer, £16 here.
She then applies Tarte's Face Tape Foundation, £33 hither betwixt the lines, and brightens her under eye with the Shape Tape Concealer – which retails for £24 here.
The result? The contour of dreams – only don't just have our word for it. The comment section is full of users praising Jessica on her makeup skills.
"Wow, your makeup is my goal," one person says, while another jokes; "Well it makes sense that this is how we should be contouring, because we're skeletons lol".
"It turned out so prissy," a third writes.
Some fans in the comment section aren't and then convinced, with many concerned about the negative effects of wearing then much makeup.
"Umm so girls, is that much makeup not bad for your skin?" ane person asks.
"DON'T USE THE MAKEUP. Your face up is so clear," another says.
